How do I join?
Exercise = Start….Stop….Start….Stop….. Sound familiar?
This approach is most people’s experience towards fitness/exercise. Too difficult goals are set, too many goals are set, and there is a lack of motivation and discipline towards maintaining an exercise routine.
How to set exercise/fitness goals?
- Set a specific, measurable, easy goal.
- Log it daily.
- Report it to others.
- Add extra motivation if needed.
When you sign up and become a my fit project…member, you have your own blog to log and report your goals. Motivation and guidance assist you in setting specific, measurable, achievable goals. You have access to:
- your own private personalised blog accessible by you, me and other members if you wish. It is not visible to the general public.
- a set of monthly home-based bodyweight workouts and/or challenges
- mobility exercises - assists you to gain movement in 'stuck' areas and to prevent injury and disability
- the my fit project…blog provides you with current projects and inspirational, motivating posts
- my own project blog for added inspiration and ideas
To join the my fit project…community, choose a project plan that suits you, then sign up below. After registering, you will be asked to complete an online questionnaire about your exercise and medical history.
The questionnaire information enables me to assist and guide you in maintaining and improving your health and fitness.
It is important to always seek medical advice and clearance from your health professional prior to engaging in physical exercise and that you are mindful of your current health and any restrictions, particularly if you are overweight, have high blood pressure, have an illness/injury/condition that is affected by exercise, or experience heart complications. It is important that the information you provide is accurate, complete and updated. You should seek medical attention if there are any unanticipated changes to your physical condition at any time. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy for further information.
